“Death is what gives life meaning. To know your days are numbered. Your time is short.”
This quote from Dr. Strange vividly depicts life's purpose. A few dollars out of 10 seems a lot; but what if that 10 dollars was 10,000? Living each day out to the fullest can start with a simple morning mindset: to think that "today" is the day you die. Although that may seem morbid and dreadful, you begin to picture each day differently. You think about all the things you want to do before you "die" and experience new things rapidly. The Grim Reaper is the most important figure in your life because it truly allows you to have a purpose. Your purpose can be vastly complicated and is always changing. Think about 2 or 3 adjectives that describe you at your best... Those adjectives should guide you in determining what your goal is. Surround yourself with opportunities that scream 'happy' or 'energetic' or 'supportive'. Don't fixate on short-term pleasure but instead on long-term happiness and fulfillment. Be happy with the present, learn from the past, and set yourself up for the future. In some cases, that is all you can do.
So... I'll leave you with a quote: “Life has no meaning. Each of us has meaning and we bring it to life. It is a waste to be asking the question when you are the answer.” - Joseph Campbell
